A remote ancestor used to work wood as far back as 1759, as per a certificate of the Camber of Commerce, dated 1968. We passed, in two and a half centuries of activity, from a single, extraordinary craftsman, "dello nobil ligno", to the present company. A dynamic and multiple reality, with 80 employees, a production area of 10.000 square metres, a qualified presence in the main national and international fairs in its field. An ever increasing institution, with wide commercial business with Partners in every continent. Every product by Gianfranco Ballerini is a continuous call to the past, to the classical taste as harmony of forms and research work for stylistic perfection. The definitive transformation happened in the 60's. The elder of the two children, Gianfranco, got great recognition during an exhibition in the U.S.A. He succeeded in imposing a line of objects which became part of the American fashion of that time. Gianfranco Ballerini refined overseas his own sensibility to creative art and coupled it with an effective manual ability inherited by his father. From that moment on, he has stood out for his own creativity, combined with his love for objects with strong historical and traditional values, with simple and sincere style as the place where he grew up, surrounded by unshakeable love.
